Probation Violation
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police logs for Wednesday, May 16, 1:47 p.m., 200 block So. Schoneman, "detainable client."  Twenty-seven year old Amber F. Ferre arrested on Probation Violation charge and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Wanted
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police logs for Wednesday, May 16, 11:41 a.m., Coos River Hwy., 23-year old Todd Federico arrested on Salem Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on Obstruct Police charge.

Urinated on door
A 31-year old male was arrested by Coos Bay Police Tuesday, May 15, after an officer responded to a complaint on the 600 block of Hemlock St., "male just urinated on his front door."  According to an entry on the police log for 4:34 p.m., Tallon James McDonald was charged with Criminal Mischief III and Probation Violation Detainer.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Counterfeit
A third report in a little over a week about counterfeit money was made to Coos Bay Police on Tuesday, May 15.  According to an entry on the police log for 9:26 a.m., the fake money was discovered at Umpqua Bank, 700 So. Broadway.

Dispute
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, May 14, 11:09 p.m., 200 block No. Broadway, "advise things have started up again."  Fifty-two year old Eileen Webb transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille on two-counts of Harassment - Domestic.

DUII
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, May 14, 4:19 p.m., So. 2nd & Curtis, "followed possible intoxicated driver - now out of vehicle and walking into her house."  Forty-three year old Leslie Cutrer arrested for DUII and cited for Refusing Breath Test.

Indecent Exposure
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, May 14, 3:13 p.m., Newmark at Walmart, "indecent exposure."

Threat
A lot sweeper working at Bay Clinic on Thompson Road in Coos Bay early Monday morning, May 14, reported to police that "a guy just threatened to shoot out their lights," according to an entry on the police log for 2:41 a.m.

Fire
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Sunday, May 13, 11:07 p.m., "advise house is on fire at location."  The CBFD was dispatched to Idaho Dr.

Illegal crabbing
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Sunday, May 13, 9:07 a.m., 200 block Holland St., Empire Boat Ramp, "game violation.  Illegal harvest of crabs."

VRO
A report of a "suspicious vehicle" led to an arrest Sunday morning, May 13 on the 900 block of Salmon in Coos Bay.  According to an entry on the police log for 8:50 a.m., 51-year old Ron Taylor was arrested on a charge of Violation of Restraining Order.

Wanted
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, May 11, 3:42 a.m., 1100 block 1st St., "result of suspicious vehicle," 55-year old Lauralei Burt Beavan arrested on Coos Bay warrant for Unlawful Possession of Meth.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Thursday, May 10, 200 block So. Wasson, "assist Douglas Co."  Thirty-five year old Sanford Haines arrested on charge of Probation Violation.

Assault
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Thursday, May 10, 3:48 p.m., 1100 block So. 10th St., "reported assault."  Twenty-two year old Andrew David Gray arrested on Probation Violation charge and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Narcotics investigation
As a "result of suspicious vehicle" report on the 200 block of So. 5th St., in Coos Bay, early Thursday morning, May 10, 4:25 a.m., a 20-year old male was arrested on drug charges.  According to an entry on the police log, Christopher D. Brown was charged with Failure to Carry and Present, Escape III, Resisting Arrest, PCS Schedule I, DCS Schedule I and cited for PCS Less Than an Oz. Marijuana.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Counterfeit money
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log, an official at Umpqua Bank on the 700 block of Broadway, reported “counterfeit money.”

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for early Sunday morning, May 13, 1:39 a.m., So. Morrison & Michigan, “observed subject who is on probation with someone he is not supposed to contact.”  Nineteen year old Levi LaMontagne transported to the Coos Co. Jail on a Probation Violation Detainer.

DWS
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Saturday, May 12, 6:17 p.m., Elrod & Tower Ford, arrested 29-year old William Postlethwait on two warrants, Lane Co for two-counts Failure to Appear on Traffic Offense, and Jackson Co. for Failure to Appear on Disorderly Conduct charge.  Also, 28-year old Alexander Postlethwait arrested for DWS – Misdemeanor.

 

Counterfeit
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Wednesday, May 9, 11:26 p.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., "counterfeit bill" reported at Walmart.

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Wednesday, May 9, 10:18 p.m., Mingus Swimming Pool, "casual contact."  Twenty-six year old Carlton Smith arrested on charge of Probation Violation and cited for PCS Less than 1 Oz., DWS Violation and Driving Uninsured.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Arrest
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Wednesday, May 9, 11:58 a.m., 1600 block SW Blvd., "assist Linn Co. Sheriff's Office."  Twenty-year old Angel Hundt arrested on Linn Co. Sheriff's Office Probable Cause for Robbery II.

Fire
The American Red Cross responded to assist a resident on the 200 block of No. 15th Court in Coos Bay Wednesday, May 9, displaced by a fire.  According to an entry on the police log, firefighters and a police officer were dispatched at 10:08 and 10:15 p.m. to a "report of flames coming off a roof."  Victim listed as a 74-year old female.

MIP charges
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Tuesday, May 8, 4:54 a.m., 900 block Maryland Ave. in the Empire District, seven male juveniles were involved in an MIP party, "juvenile for MIP.  Further charges are pending."

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, May 7, 9:29 a.m., "detainable subject."  Forty-five year old Norris Giles arrested on Probation Violation charge and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Fight
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, May 7, 8:47 a.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., Walmart, "fight."  Twenty-seven year old Lorin Langley arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Probation Violation.  Thirty-eight year old John Bracken arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

Beer theft
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, May 7, 1:05 a.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., Walmart reported "theft of beer from location."

Assault
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Sunday, May 6, 1:32 p.m., 100 block So. 2nd St., The Chandler, "follow up."  Twenty-one year old Kyler Beltran cited in lieu of custody on charge of Assault IV.

Yelling
A report of "subjects yelling outside building," 500 block Johnson Ave., early Friday morning, May 4, 4:05 a.m., led to an arrest.  According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log, 24-year old Reginald Jordon arrested on CBPD warrant charging Unlawful Possession of Meth.  

DUII
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, May 4, 2:18 a.m., north en route to Mill, 46-year old Curt Kammerer arrested on charge of DUII.

DUII
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, May 4, 11:45 p.m., 10th & Central, "result of vehicle accident," 20-year old Steven D. Nichols arrested for DUII and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Theft
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, May 4, 4:49 p.m., 1900 block Newmark Ave., "follow up," 44-year old James Albrecht arrested on charge of Theft II.

Fight
A report of a fight at the Motel 6 at 1445 No. Bayshore Dr., early Sunday morning, May 6, resulted in an arrest.  According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for 3:23 a.m., 24-year old Jessica Ann Whitcomb was charged with Harassment and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

DUII
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Saturday, May 6, 2:53 a.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., Walmart, "result of traffic stop," 31-year old Kimberly M. Parker arrested for DUII and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Fight
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Saturday, May 5, 7:05 p.m., 1109 S. 1st St., Terrace Motel, "fight."  Twenty-year old Clifton Dayvon Walker arrested on charges of Probation Violation, Resisting Arrest, Interfering with a Police Officer and Harassment Domestic.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Assault
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Saturday, May 5, 6:17 p.m., So. 8th & Donnelly, "fight."  Fifty-vie year old Richard McMahon arrested on a charge of Assault IV.  Victim a 41-year old male.

SHORT NARRATIVE OF EVENTS
On 4-27-12 the Coos Bay Police Department received a report from the Eugene Police Department concerning the sexual abuse of a 15 year old female. Coos Bay Detectives immediately launched an investigation.

The investigation revealed that Coos Bay resident, Brogan Oswald, had a sexual relationship with a 15 year old female from Eugene, OR.  During the relationship, sexual acts with the victim occurred in Coos Bay as well as in the Eugene area.

On 5-3-12 at approximately  12:19 pm, Coos Bay Officers arrested Brogan Oswald for the above listed charges and transported him to the Coos County Jail.
